good bump, i actually listened to this album just a couple days ago

not technically for the first time but i paid attention for the first time

pretty good

Each time I listen it gets better. Easily the bands supreme release. I like mirovrzrenie a lot, but it only has two killer tracks and a lot of just good ones. Plus half the album is on taste of victory. Too many interludes as well.

Yeah, you're not an interlude dude. That's why I love that one the best, not only are songs from The Taste of Victory more raw on there, you also get an entire album experience. It lives and breathes, nothing is streamlined. And that is good.

The Voice of Steel is pretty damn amazing. I can see why several here hail it as their peak, there are no breaks from its awesome power (much like steel, höhöhö). And that is good.

i haven't been too impressed by their new material, especially the two songs on the Graveland split. i pulled out Weltanschauung a few weeks ago to revisit it after like 5 years- I quickly remembered that it's a nearly perfect album. It was probably their peak, as they seemed to have left the heavy folk influence behind.

Voice of Steel was sort of beginning of the tolerant era and is still pretty good
