Yeah the guys from Foals still actually live in Oxford, I went to a local gig with a friend and the guitarist of Foals was sitting at the bar watching, we were like "uuhhhhhh hi" :lol:
 
:D Awesome. At least you have the chance to meet some people who play in a decent band. My city just offers that bassplayer from the Bloodhound gang and the singer from travis.. oh yeah :lol:
 
Yeah that's why I'm so glad I decided to go to Uni in Oxford, the local music scene is just awesome. My new favourite place in the world is a local pub called The Jericho, not only is it an awesome pub but it's always doing gigs with brilliant bands. It's also where Radiohead and Supergrass had their first gigs so that's pretty cool. I think the next gig coming up is Blood Red Shoes, should probably get a ticket for that...
 
Shit, I thought I live in a nice city (there is a pretty Indie/Electronica and on saturdays Dubstep/DnB Club some minutes from my house away which is always worth a visit) but I havent found such a pub here:/ And I dont know much about the local music scene here when it comes to ''indie'' music (the electronica scene is pretty big) but I'm recording a really awesome band at the moment so I hope they get some attention(...) after we release that stuff. ''We'' because I joined them recently as they needed another guitarist which makes recording even better.
Anyway, get the tickets! I thought Blood Red Shoes' first album and ep were good but I think the latest album is better. At least what I heard from it.

Classic was cool, didn't really like the fast part though not my thing.
Bar 9 was really cool.
Best - Awesome, but the fucking effect they do made me go and reach for my phone >8(

And I didn't listen to the last one yet.
