Hey all, I am Oliver. Been into producing for about a year now, I'll take on any type of music, mainly do it as a hobby but I've taken a couple of paying clients in the recent months and they have been happy with my work so that can't be all bad!

Anyway I hail from the UK, I play drums and some guitar (average at best on guitar though I must admit).

Musical influences range from A-Z, I can find something I like in most anything, except some modern pop music, it bores me to sleep.

Currently listening to Emmure, Deftones (One of my favourite bands), Lamb of God, We Came As Romans as well as some of the classic stuff (Rainbow, Dio etc)

Just wanted to say hello to everyone on the UM community, hopefully I'll make some new friends as gain some knowledge! That is the aim anyway! :kickass:

Cool meeting you, Oliver :hotjump:

Welcome to UM.com, you'll love it here I'm sure.

A buddy of mine, Terry Schwimmbacher, he's into music engineering. Isn't that along the lines of what you're doing now? If it is, he's available on Facebook as Terry Schwimmbacher II. He's very good at what he does. I was the drummer of his band, and he was the rhythm guitarist.

You are not too shabby at your job, so that's an awesome blessing in this day and age. Wishing you the best in your career.

Hey there Mulder,

Thanks a lot for the reply, Music Engineering for me is all part and parcel of production as a whole, sometimes I find myself helping clients out with the writing as well, not sure whether or not I should but if thats what they ask of me and they like my ideas then so be it I guess.

I'll check Terry out on Facebook, have a listen to some of his work if possible.

Good to meet another drummer as well!

All the best man :)

Its good to see that6 you listen to a variety of rock but just expect some of the kvlt fuckers to rip on you for that. Seems to be the case with alot of the BM elitists.
Anyways its a great site otherwise.
