Noob question:): Amps for passive Monitors

If I buy, two pairs of passive monitors, I should buy two amps? or i can use some kind of switcher?

you would normaly buy an ampflifier (like for your home stereo system)

Oh... I'm retarded lol. Um.. Interesting! Surely you could use 1 power amp and a passive audio switching unit? So long as when you change no audio is running through you shouldn't get any pops etc

I use a Crown Power Line Four. pretty incredible amp.
