I probably shouldn't place this thread here, but if you read this, I have already done it

In the Metallica - One musicvideo, they show scenes from something that looks like a TV-show or movie. (The one with the guy with a mask and stuff).

It gives me the whole X-files, Rosswell, Area 51, evil plan feel. Does anyone know if this is a film or show, or just something made for the video ?
