Anyone have any recommendations as to what I should get. My budget isn't huge, though. I have a modest desktop PC that does very well right now, but I'm looking to go to a notebook setup.

Here's what I'm thinking of getting:

Does this sound like it would work well with a Presonus Firepod/Cubase setup? I run a lot of plug ins. I'm also looking to add another firepod interface, so there would be up to 16 tracks simultaneously recording.

My home PC is around 2-3Ghz, 1GB memory...This unit is dual core setup with 2GB memory. My goals are low latency running 16 inputs at the same time.

Reasonable, or am I missing the boat?

I've recorded a demo this weekend running Cubase/Firepod on a borrowed battered 3.0GHz P4, 512MB ram laptop from work with incredible overheating issues (meaning I had to keep it elevated at all times!) - 25+ audio channels, no issues. You're good to go.
