Mustaine wrote The Mechanix as part of Metallica, it's on their demo No Life Til Leather with Hetfield singing (no doubt what Ptah is refering to).

When he got booted out, he took the song with him lyrics intact to Megadeth's first album "Killing Is My Business... And Business Is Good!" to become just "Mechanix".

Metallica rewrote the lyrics & stretched it out to become the four horsemen on Kill 'em all and I believe Kirk added his own solo, but i cbf listening to them each to find out atm.
