Never heard of Demon! Quality hard rock/metal band from my hometown of Stoke-on-Trent. Highly recommended - 'The Plague', 'Spaced Out Monkey' & 'Breakout' albums.

Dream Theater - Train of Thought.

First impressions - probably the heaviest material since 'Awake'; really quite a fat, dirty guitar sound at times, and not much Jordan in evidence on some tracks (he's there, but the keys are blended more with the guitars, or just making plain whacky type noises...!) Some of it is reminding me of a Metallica black album type vibe, albeit with a fair deal more complexity in some of the passages and arrangements.

The instrumental 'Stream Of Consciousness' rocks, and I really lke the last track (In The Name of God) too.

Not quite what I expected; I think it'll take me a while to get my head around it, but I'm sure I'll end up loving it...
