Hamburgerboy says they're an atmospheric black metal (or "atmoshit" as he calls it) band based on the opening track from Unchain the Wolves, so he doesn't seem to know much about the band. Anyway, I think Unchain... and Cold Steel are better than Phoenix Rising. I like everything they've done apart from Defiance, though.

That was my second listen...still not sticking. The new Protector album is better, imo .

The new album adds traditional heavy metal flair and might even be my favorite by them.
