This is sort of different. mix of stoner rock and surf rock. Nap.

4th time through this album now. It was okay at first but I remembered hearing some underlying harmonies of interest that made me give it a 2nd chance. Now it's really growing on me. There are a couple slow parts where you can zone out, but the blend of chromatic surf rock harmonies with the psych stoner is very interesting at times.

Yeah i'd say it's worth checking out if you're into these types of music. There's also some grunge stuff mixed in with the surf rock, there's really a lot of variety but it's seamless. The album gets better as it goes on though. First track and a half or so are nothing revolutionary.

This stuff is fun to solo over. Simple B blues or pentatonic licks with some bends and slides work fine. plenty of space to fill
