I'm not mad since I've come around on Celtic Frost recently

One of my first metal shows was seeing Iced Earth on tour with Megadeth back in 2001. Iced Earth were alright live, but they looked like amateurs in comparison to Megadeth. Still have a Horror Show long sleeve that I bought that night. Best songs on this album are Dracula, Damien, Imhotep, and Frankenstein.

For me, I developed a liking to their sound later in my music listening travels. Wasn't my cup of tea in my early days.

From Chaos to Eternity is probably one of the band's shining moments which is fitting considering that this is essentially the last album that would feature Turilli and the end of the saga they started with Legendary Tales.

So that Wolf Spider caught my eye and I just checked out tunes from 3 of their albums - oh yes.

This time around I was kind of disappointed with it, some of the tracks were just straight up pop metal. I remember liking it much more the last time I listened to it, maybe I was drunk...

You can definitely hear what was to come in the 90's on that album.
