The older I get the more I come back to this album. It's not my favourite JP album at all but it just has such a great mood to it, good to throw on at anytime.

Yeah its very much in that vein of Devin Townsend riffage, but then it explodes into these weird double drum + triplet riffs The Amenta does. Its pretty good for what it is. Definitely more on the heavier side and not dumb nu metal "boo hoo my mommy hits me why doesn't anyone understand me" side.
