This new Cryptic Brood 7 inch fucking rules, some of the heaviest riffiest interestingly paced death metal I've heard this year. Only 2 tracks at a total of just over 10 minutes but it crushes skulls from beginning to end. Made me wanna revisit their last album asap. Fuck.

Russian OSDM that runs the gamut of 90's death metal influences pretty nicely. From big dumb groovy riffs to bursts of technicality, slowed down Covenant-esque parts with super low vocals, brutal Suffo chugs, melodic Swedeath solos etc etc. Not reinventing the wheel but a fun listen.
