My favorite releases of the last few weeks:

Seven Doors - Feast of the Repulsive Dead


Zombie Riot - World Epitaph


Grooving OSDM riffs with soaring leads and lyrics about Horror and Zombies. The Seven Doors is particularly awesome.

I've been looking forward to that Seven Doors album after their last EP, but I jammed it this morning and was pretty disappointed. Is it just me or does the production sound computerised as fuck?



The drum sound and the guitar tone is so sanitised. Maybe it's just me...

I don't know. That YouTube upload sounds quiet and less full-bodied than the download I got with Bandcamp purchase so that could be part of it. It is a one-man project so the drums are programmed as well. When I listen to my download with headphones I don't have any issues. That riff at 2:15 sounds real punchy and strong. I'm not a stickler for production though (it has to be really horrific).
