Jusa from Morbific/Sadistic Drive's new one-man death metal project; Ensanguined.
Hilariously obvious programmed drumming on this one. Very lo-fi and sewer-soaked.
Not totally my thing, but fun and his bass playing is pretty sick. Another Morticiancore band is shat into existence.

Power Castle! Tim Diedrich's heavy metal band that's been around since the early 00's. He was briefly in Christian Mistress and Quayde LaHüe.
They dropped their 1st and 2nd albums back-to-back in December last year, this one was recorded in 2017 but not released then.

Pretty good so far. Has a cool rough around the edges epic/trad metal thing going on with very audible bass picking. Oscar Sparbel also played on this recording so the guitarwork slays. He was a core member of Christian Mistress and played on every record. Fucking loved that band.

This is so much weaker than I remember it being. Grating production somehow.
At a certain point I was just waiting for it to be over. "Ninefold Muse" is a good track though.

yeah i was a bit underwhelmed by the gatekeeper album too. sure i’ve mentioned this since he’s in so many bands, but the vocalist used to be a regular poster here.
