Nah not a rip off, more a homage. They sound like a Swedish ST, but their lyrics are different enough from ST to know it's not a rip off. Their second album grows on it a bit more and removes them a little more from ST as well. Kind of like Mechanix, the German band with the dude that sounds like Mustaine. They wrote what some said should have been RIP II, then their third album stood them out on their own.
