I can't remember if I've listened to this before. Such a strange album but really good so far. It's like prog black/death metal but way more focus on being beautiful and melodic than on aggression of any kind, yet the black/death elements work perfectly with it. I'm still on the first song though, so it may pick up and I'm excited to find out
edit: it does get heavier, but it's cool how they mixed the styles so seamlessly
