Yeah, it does feel like yesterday when it came out, listening to it hammered with a friend in the middle of nowhere.
Personal anecdotes aside, this record creates an unbelieavably warm atmosphere. I "blame" JB's vocals for this.
The man is not as appreciated as he should be, he is one of the best heavy metal singers of the last 20 years.
And it takes major balls to open your record with a mid-paced, epic-as-sh*t song such as "On Hooves of Gold", when your momentum at that time was that of a pure heavy metal, fast paced epicness kind of band.
