I 'previewed' the four full length albums and although I didn't mind Death Squad and DOJ, I actually liked Gas Sol better. If the new album in October is any good I'm going to look into ordering that and Gas Sol at least.

For my money that demo compilation is the most redeeming thing I've heard from the band. I've never bothered to go beyond their sophomore album but if their new record rules enough I might do some backtracking.

Conclusion and Revival didn't do much for me at all. DOJ and DS did have some good older school trash but I thought the last album sounded a bit tighter. Those two demos do sound good though. Going to have to check them out in full later.

They never were really considered a top-tier thrash metal band, especially in the context of the German scene.

No that's easy to see. They had a lot of elements of bands like Kreator and Sodom, but they also had line up issues in their early days from what I read.

It's a bit like the Onkel Tom clip I posted yesterday. Tom Angleripper's music is quite distinctive and the Sodom influence is there but it's not the same.
