Queen of Thieves is a masterpiece. Probably the best drumming I've heard in a trad/power album as well.

I saw your review on RYM. Opener was a gem:

"I've been something of a contrarian for all of my life, and where that usually translates into me finding something well-praised as incredibly boring (*cough*Virgin Steele*cough*), here I diverge in finding this to be a phenomenal progressive/power metal release, and can't understand how fans of The Spectre Within and Winter Kill can dislike this. Now, in saying that I will readily admit that they were not at the cutting edge of progressive metal with this release, and the Iron Maiden and Fates Warning influence can be quite blatant at moments, they still hold realm to their own corner of this wonderful sub-style of underground metal."

The first album took a few tries to enjoy, but I'm not sure if I'm going to get into this one. Solos are pretty great but overall it feels like they're missing the point here. Lots of tech-thrash aesthetic but the riffs and arrangements seem pretty average overall. Not crazy about the King Diamond-y vocal style change either. Suspended Privilege is probably the highlight.
