Re-listening to it for the first time in a while and it is better than I remember. It might end up making my top 10 list.

It's interesting the contrasts between people because I went the other way, relistened to it thinking it was going to make it and decided otherwise.

It is too soon to determine my favorite albums of 2018. The real test is to see how many of these album remain in constant play during 2019.

I like this album, but I know in six months when I want to listen to Exmortus I am going for Slave to the Sword.

Agree with that. I relistened to it last week for my 2018 list expecting it to make the list but it didn't. I like the album but there was better stuff for me and I am more likely to return to Slave to the Sword as well.
