Dip in quality from the last album. Reminds me of that whole sound/movement The Police seemed to popularise in the 1980's with the janky shimmery guitars and twangy bass, almost touching on dub/roots rock or something. I suppose if that kind of new wave music is your thing I can see why you'd enjoy this Rush album but it's not really doing anything for me.
"The Analog Kid" is a quality track though.

Fucking LOVE the aura of this record. Dunno what the fuck they did but it sounds more dark and evil than any 90's black metal record I can think of.

Not really a fan but give Ritual a shot, not a bad album at all.
First time actually listening to this band. Not too bad for Modern American death metal

Cool! Definitely will. Miasma kinda bled together but I've heard they progress pretty well with each album.

Don't think ive heard that one. Nocturnal was okay but i've only heard it once. Everblack was meh.
Ritual is a somewhat technical album along with being melodic which is why i enjoy it. That being said its been years so i might just give it a go later tonight.

When I get done reading a bit more I'll check it too.
Miasma sorta blurs the line between melodic death/black metal with metalcore. And its unfortunate they get lumped in with bands like All That Remains and As I Lay Dying.

After checking a few songs off Ritual, they really did mature after Miasma!
They have a few Opeth-y moments that keep it locked. Fuckin love it.
