I think Suicidal Angels is better than Destruction, but I have only given Destruction one chance.
I think the Suicidal Angels albums fits well with their back catalogue, maybe on a par with Sanctify the Darkness. It's been a while since I listened to the previous albums but I think Years Of Aggression, while not their best is still a solid release.

Destruction for me was like most of their albums, a few really good tracks while the majority are just generic Destruction songs. Die hard fans will probably love it but I doubt it will win over many new fans.

... i've heard a few songs from that Witching Hour album on YT and enjoyed 'em. Definitely need to pick that one up.

Definitely enjoyable but I feel like it lacked some balls compared to their earlier material. Dunno if it's the more "vintage" production or that the riffs lean more towards trad metal. Good metal is good metal in the end though.
