I know GM have been basically making the same album for like a decade but I thought this new one was real solid. Their best since Triumph and Power I reckon.

Wolf God was actually better. I was hooked after the first single but became disappointed upon listening to the entirety of the album. We've heard all of that before. Uninspired verses and choruses eating the tail of their prior discography cuts. I enjoyed only like 3 or 4 songs from this one. They really do not have any innovation left in them, and I agree Triumph and Power was their last "innovative" work.

Wolf God peaked really high for me with "To Live and to Die in Solitude" but I definitely disagree that it's the better album. For me that one and Sword Songs are my least favourites. I think whatever was going on with Sword Songs carried over somewhat to Wolf God.

Honestly I've already listened to the new album like a dozen times, super catchy.
