Has anyone tried to use the VST System Link in Nuendo 3?

I was looking into using this to run more plug-in's on different machines (PC's). I own 3. Was reading that it can be done with a farm of systems PC or MAC combined. Has anyone used this feature? What's the PRO's and CON's on this?

Just wanted to ask before I tried it.

I haven`t tried it myself, but some guys over at the Cubase forum use this solution to network several computers.

Give us some feedback on how this stuff works out for you, I`m curious about this as well.

Update!

Well, I couldn't get the VST System Link in Nuendo to work. So I decided to give FX Teleport a try (free trial download). I have got to say that so far it's amazing works great!!! I can't believe it, no more CPU Clips. :headbang:

I have 2 systems running awesome:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
System 1
Laptop - 3.4GHZ -2GB Ram - WinXP - Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS PCMCIA
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
System 2
Desktop - 1.8GHZ - 2GB Ram - Win2000 - SoundBlaster Live
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

On System 1, I am running Nuendo3 with my project.
On System 2, I'm running most of my Plugin's and Virtual Instruments (GuitarRig2, Korg Wavestation, URS, PSP VintageWarmer plug's, and a few others).

It's very cool. I'm still messing around with it and have not tried it with all my plug's or my main system yet. I'll keep you posted.
