NYC AA Show

So, what did you think of the world famous L'amours, dude?

I hate that venue with every fiber of my being :hotjump:but I enjoyed the shows last night, nonetheless!

I just got back from NYC and the trip was well worth it. I enjoyed the show very much especially Amon Amarth's performance and hanginng out with AA guys. There was no foosball table so I couldn't kick their asses again. The AA playlist was no different from all their other dates. They didn't play God His Son and....., nor Thousand Years of Oppression like they allegelly did on some previous dates. I pressume they only try out on different songs in venues where the turn out isn't the greatest and/or they have more time to play. The turn out was good but then again it's NYC where millions of people live, given that I would think more would show up. The club itself (didn't know it was that famous) wasn't so bad once inside (sound, stage, inside appearance), same can't be said of the bartenders (what have they had stuck up their asses) and the prices ($5-12 oz beer, $3 small bottled water). I met a couple of good people and hope to see them again in the future. I only saw Revenge, Behemoth and AA perform, left during Deicide set and didn't get a chance to see any of the local bands on the other stage. I couldn't take any pics as the cameras weren't allowed, why, I don't know, must of been because of this one band. Well, that's it for now. Six more weeks and yet another AA live show, cool. Too bad I wasn't able to meet any of you from this message board. Ok, I'll catch you on the flip side.

They played God, His Son and Holy Whore here in Buffalo. I remember it specifically because during the "chorus" section, a bunch of people including me screamed it.

\m/ "Turn the blade around! Put the oppressors down!" \m/

I went and finally met this incredibly beautiful girl that i've been talking to online for a while. Comibining that with Circle of Fear's cover of Pull the Plug and AA's crushing set, it was one of the most amazing shows ever.

I was planning on going, but with the Metal Gods tour I figured I'd save my money and 2 of my favorite bands at a show instead of just one. Besides I probably would've gotten lost in Brooklyn. I have this habbit of getting lost the first time I got to any venue. (Although in the case of Obsessions, in the back woods of north Jersey, I got lost EVERY SINGLE TIME I went there.)
