Guitars are quite louder than they should be... and they do sound artificial unfortunately (and a bit mid-heavy too). The rest of the mix seems to be in balance, though the drums could use some room sound...

I agree about the drum sound being a little dry - really like it otherwise.

What mic did you use for vocals?

Hey guys, thanks a ton for listening! The guitar sound: part of it was the bands' wishes, but I had some ideas as well. Still tweaking my new-ish axe.

The vocal mic was the almighty sm7b. Workhorse mic!

I'll work on the drum sounds for sure.

sounds good. and please keep those mids in the guitars. were not all metalcore fanboys over here the snare is a tad too present
