Dude they should have pulled out that tube years ago. Think about if she actually could see and hear but can't move or communicate for the last 15 years. She probably wants them to pull that shit. But the brain is dead so on the other hand what harm is it doing to keep her alive.Its mainly for the comfort of her parents and other family.I can't even watch those news shows with her on them. It brings back bad memories of the shit I just went through with my Gram.But what can you do? You have to be in her family's shoes too even have a real perspective on this fucked up situation. Shit can I write anymore today? Sorry broes.

Pull the fucking plug already. At this point, she's simply a waste of space. Why the family would want to be put through this hell is beyond me. Also, why the fuck are people with no releation to the family whatsoever getting involved? It's none of their fucking business, and it shows that they are empty inside and need to get involved in other peoples business.
You guys actually surprised me a bit. While I can´t really decide on this, because I got all the various info from media and I am not a medical specialist, I read somewhere that the opinions in the States are basically divided politically (conservatives who say save her life and liberals who say pull the plug). But as I can see from you guys´opinions it´s probably not that black and white thing 
and yeah Crypt you made the right point. It´s not business of anyone who´s not personally involved in the case. Myself including, of course. Sorry ´bout that.

Pull the plug. She put her self there in the first place by being a bulimic which in the end caused her to have heart failure and it caused massive brain damage. If you ask me people with eating disorders don't have much brain activity going on to begin with. Also, this case is ENTIRELY overpublicized. People have to pull the plug on loved ones every day and they don't get this type of attention. Leave it to serious bible thumpers to take it this far.

It stands for DO NOT RESUSCITATE. It will certainly allow me the dignity in death that this poor woman is probably longing for. The sad thing is the parents have to live with this nightmare and both Democrats and Republicans should recognize this is a DIGNITY issue and not a right to life issue.
I always find this comparison so amazing when we as human beings have compassion to easy the pain of our pets but not the COMPASSION to ease the pain of our loved ones..

It´s the familys business but after fifteen years they should be accustomed to the facts, she´s not going to be her old self EVER! If the parents have such a hard time to let her go, HAVE HER STUFFED THEN. It´s easy to think about the parents and how hard it is to loose a daughter but people should also think about her husband, for years having to see the package that once was his wife.
The problem with this is you can empathize with both parties. Now I'm not a parent but I can see their point of wanting her alive. They gave her life, raised her, she is their child for crying out loud. How willing would you be to terminate your own childs life. On the other hand, I would not want to live the rest of my life like that. Her husband is most likely telling the truth that she said she would not want to live in that condition. Not an easy position for a family member to be in. One thing I know for sure is that the media and politicians should STAY THE FUCK OUT! It's a private matter for family ONLY!
