The other issue in this case is that the money keeping Terri Schiavo alive is with tax payer's money. She, or technically her body, is on Medicare. It would make more sense that her parents, that wants her to be kept alive, should pay for it themselves.

Once this lady passes away Jack Kevorkians lawyers need to start working on an appeal!! Because if the state of Fla can essentially kill this woman with no living will, and it's not even half as humane as the way he would do it (Starving someone to death is cruel and unusual) They say she can't feel it...I say how the fuck do they know? He gets their permission either in writing or on video
and should have some sort of grounds for an appeal..... I'm not opposed to this,
But don't jail someone for doing it....Then go even further yourself....It's a double standard that shouldn't be allowed!!

I find it ironic that she is a vegetable because she starved herself to the point of having heart failure causing her brain damage. Now they are starving her to let her die . I do agree that they should go a different route of doing this...i.e. an injection or something. Just my 2 cents
