This is the biggest weekend every year around here and I'm already half shit-faced. That's why this posts makes no sense for most people. "I'm in a Zone" is my favorite song from Stomp when NFF eventually gets there. Word.

I thought this was a foolish prediction for UM (as in Miami) vs OSU for the championship. Hehe. I see it was Michigan now, and OSU has won. So now let's change the thread, will UM win their final two? If so, will they beat OSU? I think yes and yes, but won't be too surprised if I'm wrong.

Seems like the fans went waaaay overboard. They always do up at OSU, and down at OU as well. I'm all for sipping a few (or more) and having a good time, but gee wiz. Turning cars over and lighting them on fire seems a bit extreme dontcha think. The cops had every right to pummel those idiots. Hopefully when the Buckeyes play the 'Canes the behavior will be a little more subdued. I mean, c'mon, I can see getting excited at a game. I didn't think the Browns fans were out of line last year when they threw bottles on the field after the refs stole the game from them. I think tearing down a goal post after a big victory is fine, but once you start jeopardizing an entire communities safety and destroying property hours after the event. Stupid, just stupid.

Yup TD, right on. Do those fucking collage brats know what its like to own a car and have some one trash it for no good reason at all? Its fucking BS. They should expel any kid who took part in that shit. Then NOT allow their credits to transfer. Then they should have to pay for damages they caused. Fucking OSU and UC and theu Miami of Ohio all made us look like fucking wankers in the last few days. And usually its only UC Basketball players making us look bad. I hate this kind of stupid bullshit. Its as bad as soccer games in England now...

I was at a BW3's last year watching the cross-town shoot-out (Xavier/UC) which Xavier ended up winning. At the final buzzer that place just fucking erupted. This wasn't one or two guys having a tiff over the game, it was an all-out bar room brawl. There were glasses and stools flying around, one of the bartenders got hit in the face and had to get stitches and within minutes about twenty cops came in and busted everybody up. I was in the bathroom takin a piss, watching the end of the game while standing at the urinal, so I missed everything but the cops.
The end result of all this was Xavier won the shoot out, and all the trauma these guys caused changed nothing.

What is really bad and really sad is that this whole stupid riot scene has nothing to do with the game, other than the idiots using the game as an excuse to riot. What I mean is this: It is one thing when people pay hundreds of dollars to watch a prize fight and one of the fighters bites off the other guys ear and thus ends the fight early. I can see chaos ensuing here. It is another when you're at a concert for 10 hours in the sun and the headliner cancels at the 11th hour. Once again, one can expect a mini riot. Both cases were two I witnessed (one I was in !!!) and both times once the cops came, it was over, big deal, wake up the next day and get your refund. However, what is their to "riot" about in Columbus????? Your friggin' team won! THEY WON! Now why would you burn your neighbors car??? Morons, every last one of them, morons.

Yeah, I saw some ridiculous shit earlier this year with the UofA basketball crap in Tucson, I don't know if they won or not but even if they didn't, why get yourself arrested over something so stupid? And people wonder why I don't go anywhere...

It's always a case of people in large groups. They wake up the next day stating "I can't believe those dumb asses tipped over those cars and lit those garbage containers on fire". Then they realize their finger are burned from the fires they lit and their arms are sore from the cars they pushed over. But then continue to complain about stupid people starting riots. Go figure.
