Hello. As you probably know only one lyric from the album "Grey Dawn" by OC is available, so I've begun trying to transcribe the others. I just thought I'd share this, which is FAIRLY complete so far, but I need help with the *'s etc, so if anyone has any thoughts... I'm not 100% sure about a lot of it.

OCTOBER INSIGHT

to drift unto a *
spirits of water circle above you
as you trespass the sign of the fall
drawn into darkness, drawn by the call

bring into light an october insight
as you can see, grey is not white
the land of the * black
once we are here we can never get back

rain without end
this is a deadnight
desperately lacking the light of the sun

it's all it can be
a dead * reveal
hold me too close, you can never be free

lost in the half-light, o goddess of fear
how lonely your story, *
what is real in this seemingly eternal fight
to dwell within this * of night

thanx that´s very nice from you!
I really love Octobe Tide! It´s a pity most of the lyrics are still missing...

Well, I've slowed it down, sped it up, changed the pitch, and I think most of what you've got is right, and the parts you don't have I haven't the slightest idea about. I did wonder about this part though:

lost in the half-light, o goddess of fear
how lonely your story, not even near :err:
what is real in this seemingly eternal fight

Good luck...

Something that can help with deciphering lyrics is to slow it down, or raise the pitch (especially with deep growls, try raising it 4 semitones and suddenly it's all clear). Didn't work too well with the OT stuff I tried (only October Insight though), but may be worth a try. Good program is here:
http://www.ronimusic.com/
there is one program which will work on anything, but has a 30 day limit on it, and the sound quality is average. The best one is 'The Amazing Slow downer", but it only works on the first quarter of an mp3/wav file. This is not a problem, however, if you have a wav edititor, just add 15 minutes of silence to the end of the songs file (if it's under 5 minutes long, for example), so the file is 4 times longer than you need, so when it processes the first quarter, you actually get the whole song :D Sound quality is pretty good, and it has eq so you can isolate the vocals. It can change the pitch without altering the speed, and vice versa, or you can do both. You can save a copy of the processed file too.

Jonas had sent me this one, so I think it can't be more perfect...

6-Lost In the dark-and then gone-

There's a white room in my dreams
A shot in the head
A head full of lead
That's the only way to survive
The only way to go ahead

There's a red room in the house
A room full of stains
Where nothing remains
Except for a mistreated soul
That is lost in the dark and then gone.

I am screaming but no one can hear it
Then it's silence and silence is all
it can be 'cause this is a clean room
Except for the blood on the wall.

(Repeat last two stanzas)
