Symphony X and World Management are happy to announce that the band have been invited to join the Gigantour this summer. The band are excited and eager to get out on the road in continued support of their album The Odyssey. Gigantour is a six-week festival trek co-headlined by MEGADETH and DREAM THEATER. Other main-stage acts include FEAR FACTORY, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN and NEVERMORE. Also scheduled to appear on the second stage are DRY KILL LOGIC with more acts to be announced.
Michael Romeo had this to add:
"Originally, our plans for the summer were to finish writing, and get into the studio to finish the new cd. After we rethought everything, we came to the conclusion that Gigatour was too cool of a thing to pass up.
We want to give a big thanks to Dave Mustaine for giving us the opportunity, and a big thumbs up to Mike Portnoy for putting in a good word for us. Thanks guys; see you on the road!"
