Same here. We've had trouble watching them because the Anders is sick and doesn't go to sleep easily, but we might get some of Disc 3 in tonight.

My impression is that nothing is going on. The writers claim they wrote the story from start to finish but I'm of the belief that they're making it up as they go along. It's actually a pretty bad show that owes everything to The Prisoner and yet pales in comparison. Lost has lots of hot chicks in it, though.

i was more upset about losing Tom than I was about the little wanker (so as not to spoil it)

still countless loose ends to tie up. only three seasons left.

Yeah, it was a quality show last night. I liked how the island scenes were the "flashbacks" this time around. Very cool concept.

Yes, I think the show is back on form. It dipped for a while (the first several episodes of season 3 where nothing really happened) but now we're on a streak. EDIT: of course I'm including the last half of the last season.

I disagree, I think in general the writing is ace, but they have to fill up more time than they have available. There will be episodes that blow this season.... but all around it will probably be good!

Correct - 47 episodes to go to the finale. It's like two full seasons spread over three seasons.

I have not found one episode in three seasons to be subpar. Even episodes that featured Bernard and the African America lady were fucking ace.

Watching this season's first episode reminded me just how much I've forgotten. I should rewatch the third season before continuing with this one. Or at least go find some summaries of previous episodes.

Watched it last night finally... good first episode... although... I feel kinda odd about seeing the "future" of the cast...
Does anyone else find it annoying that all of a sudden you don't see much of the monsters?
I also would love to know what's up with Dezmond's future visions...

Did you guys see the 2 -hour recap episode on Wednesday? with the titles at the bottom? That was actually nice.
