Ouch, here is one more reason why I will never do drugs. This kid lived three houses away from my aunt. We used to skateboard all the time and we remained friends through high school. He has never even been in trouble once prior to this. What a way to ruin your life.

I definitely would have at least beat his ass. I don't know about a taser to the eyeball though.
This bothers me because he is a good person, he has always been one of more outgoing and down to earth people I know. He is going to pay for this for the rest of his life (There are more charges on him than those listed, I'm also sure they will tack some sort of drug charge as well.)

Morningrise and Blackwater Park are my favorite covers. Although if I had to pick I would go with BWP. It's very ominous and creepy. I wish I had a poster of it!
With that said, I don't know if I really like this one either. Maybe it needs time to sink in. The melloboat video of Heir Apparent kicks ass though!

actually ive never looked at opeth's cover art and thought 'wow that's beautiful' - its usually fairly haunting, and that's ok.. the new one looks fairly typically opeth.. BUT IS THE MUSIC GOING TO BE???? I'm worried about this one.. *keeps fingers crossed*
