I'm heading out the door in half an hour to go see the Sharks start round 2 of the Western Conference semifinals by spanking the Stars in game 1. I'm pretty excited too. :D

Metal Gear Online Beta started today.
This game is seriously fun, but it's not easy. It really requires a lot of strategy and team work. It's VERY FUN !!! Anyone whos got a ps3 should join in !!!!!!!!!!!!

haha, today at work I put something in the bin, and happened to glance down and there was a flyer for a gig, and guess who the supporting band was? Taliesin (Canberra)! and I thought, 'hang on, I know that band, that's Rich from the forums band! But the gig was in Paramatta, so I've no idea how the flyer ended up down here...

Where's he playing? Or, if you see this later, where did he play?
I checked his website when you mentioned this before, and I thought he was in TX or something.... How was the show? Please report back!

It was here in MN...just outside of the Twin Cities in Maple Grove. They didn't add the date to his website until a few days ago (possibly even yesterday). I'm putting a review thread in the musician's corner....but to tide you over til then, it was fucking incredible.

I went to see Hamburg vs Schalke today. It was pretty cool because of the fact that Germany fucking rules. Not only can you eat and drink on public transport, but you can drink beer on public transport, as well as out in the streets. So if you're going to a game, chances are you're gunna be pretty drunk by the time you get there. They even sell beer at general stores and fast food stores.

Germany, w00t!

One more reason for me to like Germany! :kickass:

England's the same way, at least about convenience stores and general stores. Not allowed on transport, but people do it anyway.

BTW, still looking for Yes - The Ladder on vinyl and/or tabs from that album

Yeah, it's sort of "taboo" to drink in public places over here. But there's no real enforcement not to do it.

lol, at Paganfest I heard a conversation from a couple people next to me "Oh yeah you're from Peterborough, chav capital of the world"

... That wasn't you was it? xD
