Do they pack them with freakin' rice? I cannot stand restaurants that do that. I grew up around Mexicans, have lived with Mexicans in both California and Texas, & not a single one of them stuffed rice in their burritos, so how some places do that yet dare to call their food 'authentic' is beyond me. Ticks me off..if I wanted rice, I'd go to a damn Chinese restaurant. :bah:

Rice doesn't belong in beer or on burritos. Check out the roast beef and potato burrito, smothered in green chile! ¡Ay, Caramba!

Mexican is my favorite.. I found a decent place nearby but I had mexican at this one place in Virginia once... it was HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tacos used to be my favorite.. but fried chimichangas are my fave now.

There's a place in northern Virginia opened by a bunch of New Mexican transplants. I can't recall the name of the restaurant though. It was close to our hotel for my sister's wedding. And for the record, all chimichangas are fried (or supposed to be - not fried is ick).

Chipotle? They only put rice on them if you want it. Personally, I like it because it's an easy way to make it more filling for no extra money. When I'm back at school, about once a month I'll go to taco bell and order 15-20 tacos, come home, pack rice in them, and then instead of having to eat 4-5 of them to get full...I'm good on two.

This has been another installment of cheap-ass college-boy savings techniques.

I enjoy playing guitar more than eating, so I think for the next two semesters I'm just going to eat Raman noodles and put all of my food money towards a new 7 string.

Mexican food is sounding pretty good right about now..

Going to burn through the Bevmo gift certificate my buddy bought me tonight. Probably going to pick up some Stone smoked porter, Deschutes Black Butte and maybe try Sierra Nevada's too.

Good luck. I'd be surprised if you could actually just eat raman noodles for a full two semesters. I did it for about 2-3 weeks when I first started school. During the last two months of my freshman year, I ran out of money and literally ate nothing but rice with various sauces/salad dressings mixed in for flavor. It was hell.

'Symphony X'

Katie is a vibrant, sensual creature, brimming with needs. Her husband Daniel is a cheating rat, driving her crazy with his infidelities. The one thing she can rely on is her music, and she plays the viola like a wild goddess. When the orchestra she’s part of embarks on a tour of Europe, joined by a dominatrix diva and a bass singer whose voice is so low he is known as the human vibrator, Katie is soon experiencing life to its hedonistic limits.

While she is carefully recording each passionate encounter in hr journal, another member of the orchestra is writing down his. Intrigue begins when the two books are inadvertently switched. And if the truth gets out, they’ll never play a concerto in their home town again.

Man!! It could be the same one! Its right next to Hampton Inn.. but I'm not sure where in Viginia lol.

Thats what I thought about the Chimichangas but in the menus sometimes I see the option for fried or not fried.. so it makes me wonder lol.

And.. what the hell was that last post? A new book or something? lol

Damnit! Why did the new "Fastest players" thread have to get closed before I could get in and pre-emptively make fun of the pussies who were doubtlessly going to start saying "It's about feeeeeeeeeelings! Heavy metal guitar is about touching people's hearts!"

Speaking of playing totally awesome (and by that I mean fast), I saw Powerglove live last night.

I had one of the best burgers ever last night. It was a mix of ground venison and elk cut with hamburger to add some fat, mixed in with onions, a bunch of other crap and stuffed with cheese. There are only a few things that could have made it better: if it were stuffed with bleu cheese, some bacon, and delicious vegetables. Some thick-ass sliced tomatos and onions, lettuce, maybe some kick-ass bbq sauce.

I'm actually quite shocked that it didn't have Bacon... Bacon should be on everything.

Well yeah, no shit. I was at a bbq and it wasn't exactly my say as to the bacon issue. Like i said, to make it the perfect burger, there would have been some major changes made, but it was still fucking awesome.

Oh yeah, and the fucker had to be over a pound COOKED. It was gigantic.
