Heh, so if they can't do anything then I won't apply for a new one. Best I just not even have a card, since I remember the number. Don't need it for applying for jobs, since I got one of those now. If I need one in the future I guess I can talk to these guys. As for credit/ID theft, I think anyone trying to pass as me is going to have a pretty hard time. I'm not worried, and I'm not paying anybody about it.

EDIT: Especially because I just found it in a drawer. Still interesting to know this information. The gov can't do jack :D

Well, i was carying beer and my laptop in my backpack, beer busted open, laptop got soaked, goodbye laptop. Fucking jesus...

At least i have my old shitty laptop that still works... if only marginally. Should get me through until i can get a new one.

Pabst. Such a great loss for such a cheap beer.

So don't lament the loss of the beer. I can find the change in my couch to replace that shit

Anyway, I'll probably be gone from here for the most part... or rather, i won't be checking the forums 15 times a day anymore. gotta figure out how to buy a new lappy :D

I know a guy who got a a new lap-top when he screwed his brand new one with beer, cause he told it was his cat that spilled the beer..

But I don't really know anything about these insurance matters so I don't know!

Btw. this thread has reached 13,000 posts, which is quite ridiculous.

This is a posting from somebody on the Planet X forum regarding the recent Allan Holdsworth gig. Talk about a famous spectator lineup! What I would've given to have been at that gig...

As an FYI, there will be a Virgil Donati Band gig in L.A. on Friday, December 12th at The Baked Potato. A gig posting has gone up on Alex Machacek's MySpace site, and I was at The Baked Potato last night for Allan Holdsworth with Jimmy Johnson and Chad Wackerman, and Alex and Rufus were both there and confirmed the gig. There may, or may not, be a keyboard player, and if I hear something about that I'll add it here. If the band follows its previous pattern, a number of Virgil's tunes from "Quantum" will be on the set lists.

Fusion players galore in attendance at the Potato last night including Alex, Rufus, Kirk Covington, Danny Carey, Ric Fierabracci, Tal Wilkenfeld, John Ziegler, Sumitra Nanjundan and several others.

Tom

And then somebody added:

It seems that other attendants were Steve Vai, Steve Lukather, Joel Taylor and Ronald Bruner Jr.
Well at least, that's what I read at Allan's messageboard.

Wow.

Well, happy Thanksgiving everyone! And if you're not American, happy Thursday!
