I just had a conversation yesterday with someone about this and it still amazes me how partitioned a persons brain can be. People always bitch that Bill O'Reilly is a blubbering douche and he lies about everything, which is completely true (The Malmedy Massacre and "The War On Christmas" for example), but then right after observing that, they will turn on Keith Olbermann and be convinced he is oozing truth out of his pores.
They are all full of shit. Every politician down to the local news anchors. I don't trust a single word uttered from the mouth of any of them. We live in a country populated by over 308,000,000,000, the only way a government can function is to feed people bullshit. Imagine for a second if you ran a country full of enlightened people who question your every footstep and breath down your neck before/during/after every action, it wouldn't be easy at all.
I have come to realize that the world functions more smoothly when everybody is full of shit.

Pretty crazy land ours is though, we've had 5 weeks or non-stop rain up north, causing flooding etc. which has almost gone without mention, because then down south we've had a couple of weeks of 40+ degrees Celsius, and some idiots decide it'd be a good time to light a few fires... I'd definately have to agree with PM K-Rudd when he wants to charge them with 'Mass-murder'...
Just terrible, whole towns have just disappeared off the map, they reckon there'll probably be over 200 deaths by the time they're able to get in and find everyone... Similar threads
