I don't know this one, but the North Coast Rasputin imperial Russian stout is fucking ridiculous. Highly recommended.

I bought a bottle of Old Horizontal tonight. Haven't had one for years.

Re: Yeti, the only night I ever had the regular ones was on a gig, I drank 3 of those on an empty stomach and remember very, very little of the entire affair. I was so plastered that during the middle of songs I would just jump off stage to take a piss, and my band kept playing. It was a free-form jazz/rock thing with two bassists, but still. At some point I had to sit down and somehow found a piano stool behind me, which I looped forward with one foot and clunked down, without missing a note, whereupon I perched myself for the rest of our set, eyes mostly closed. The next morning I was so embarrassed that I couldn't bring myself to contact my bandmates in any way, shape, or form all day. Thankfully we were recording that evening:

Anderson Valley brews some of the best around. If you have access to their Brother David, oh lawdy, I can't recommend that one highly enough. Also their BOONT Amber is extraordinary. And I want to type BOONT a second time because it is a nifty word.

I have had some good beer lately, but the most noteworthy was from Speakeasy, a milk stout called Black Hand. Apparently this thing is very limited, but if anyone finds a bottle, get it! I stumbled upon it and had my boxers magnificently rocked.
