Hey how is the Jolly Pumpkin stuff? I am intrigued by their labels, but at the prices out here. This one in particular:

Getting me to spend more than $7 for a bottle of beer these days is a rare thing. So I have to ask before making big financial commitments.

Stone 18th Anniversary is quite good. Not as good as their 16th, but few things are.

I don't remember the 17th. That means it was either crap or very high alcohol content.

This Barbapapa RIS is one of the greatest beers I have ever had the pleasure of sipping. In a word; DECADENT. Easily the best non-barrel-aged Imperial Stout I have ever had. Amazing.

Isn't that the social network plugin that alerts the local law enforcement whenever you are drinking a high alcohol content beverage in public? Sure, I'm almost joking, but them coppers do use Facebutt for DUI evidence (amongst other things) on occasion. We want you Big Brother... So, um, no, I'm not on that. [/no fun at all]

But I did buy some excellent beers recently. Stone's RuinTen, North Coast's Brother Thelonious, The Bruery's Saison Rue, and Hangar 24's Polycot. I'm afraid that my long lasting love affair with IPA has come to an end, seems that I'm sick of them. So I went out with a good one, especially since the standard Ruination was a personal choice for ages.
