Official RC Snobby Beer Purchases Thread

tried a walkingman Homo Erectus last night, pretty tasty, spicy hops and spruce overtones. it's hard for me to be critical of imperial ipas, they're like pizza--even bad ones i'll consume with relish. nothing too special though.

this sierra nevada bigfoot barleywine i just savored, on the other hand, is pretty damn delicious. a less intense experience than olde gnarlywine or old crustacean, a bit subtler and mellower, a pleasure from start to finish. i love barleywine.

anybody like red stripe? as far as lagers go i'm actually quite a fan...

just bought a sixer of Bud Ale to split with a few people! I'm actually pretty excited to taste it's mediocrity.

That shit made me sick...

Working into my Rogue stock tonight. Got 4 bombers of Hazlenut Brown to hit up, and might work around to some others.

Went to Asheville over the weekend and picked up a sixer of The Duck-Rabbit Amber Ale. I havent had any yet but I did have a pint of their Milk Stout and I thought it was pretty tasty.
An aside: while enjoying said beverage I sat in the sun for over an hour at around noon but with the autumnal angle of our favorite star, I suffered a mild burn on just one side of my face.

Oh, I also had some Highland Oatmeal Stout and some other local brews that I lost track of. Good brewers, those hillbillies.

I've been wanting to try some Green Flash for a while... We can't get it here.

You're completely missing out broheim.

Found another bottle of Hop Stoopid and a buddy gave me a bottle of Le Freak (Green Flash).

Though a week ago I went to a local Beer Advocate and had samples of an absurd amount of rare beer.

Can't remember all of them from what I can remember here's a list....

Lost Abbey's Isabella Proximus
Dissident (Deshutes?)
Goose Island Bourbon Stout
Bruery's Imperial White Orchard

I actually can't remember what else was there. I got pretty damn plastered
