Official RC Snobby Beer Purchases Thread

oh no. i remember. i used to take this weight gain shake that would produce gas and poop so unpleasant that i just stopped taking it. i mean, those kind of symptoms gotta mean something. i fear taking any kind of supplement nowadays

i just try not to fart around women and classmates. I enjoy farting on public transit, because then everyone is looking at everyone else trying to figure out who did it.

i once dated a nurse who was impervious to all things disgusting, i literally had to run away from her a few times because she was involved with something so revolting.

the only exception was my beerfarts, those grossed her the fuck out. :kickass:

trader joe's relabelled a Unibroue ale, the 2005 Vintage. and it was cheaper than the Unibroue so i picked it up. :kickass:

Introduced by the Vikings, spruce and pine ales were very popular in the Scottish Highlands until the end of the 19th century. Many early explorers, including Captain Cook, used spruce ale during long sea voyages since it prevented scurvy and ill health. Shetland spruce ale was said to "stimulate animal instincts" and give you twins. Alba is a triple style ale brewed to a traditional Highland recipe from Scots pine and spruce shoots pickled during early spring.Pure malted barley, is boiled with the young sprigs of pine for several hours then the fresh shoots of the spruce are added for a short infusion before fermentation.
A tawny brown strong ale with spruce aroma, rich malt texture, complex wood flavour and lingering finish.
Best drunk at room temperature from a wine goblet as an after dinner digestive.

you should drink a stout at room temperature. :loco:

actually i chill my stouts for like 30 minutes, pour, then let them sit for about 10 minutes. right now i'm drinking a Mackeson that is too cold because i fridged it for a few days. me = dum.

oh and i've never had that kind, but i know Avery is some GOOOOOOOOD shit, so i'm sure that is no different.

Crackin it as I type. Yeti Oak Aged has the best taste of ANY Imperial Stout I have ever tried yet. Its amazing. I still need to get my hands on Darklord. I might have to trade for it though since I dont see Three Floyds being distributed around here.

Best aroma = Old Rasputin
