I haven't given Mayan history as much time as I should, so I haven't heard of the recalculations and what not. I think it's humorous that some astronomers were discussing how the Sun's solar flares and spots would be at they're strongest point (in the 11 year period) in 2012 and could potentially cause a buttload of damage for the Earth should a flare be facing us at the time of eruption. *run-on sentence*

What was it......something about directional changes will cause prisms to beam more radiation to Earth in mid-2012, causing harm to satellites and other crucial devices we commonly use, including electricity. Because the radiation takes time, they predict it to happen mid-2012 but full effect won't take place until Dec. 2012.

Or some shit.

Yea, I have read other dates. Some people say New Years day 2012, June-ish 2012, December 1st, 21st, 31st etc. Although, most dates point to December. I am a very strong believer of metaphysics/Astral life and believe peoples' basic understanding of reality as only physical is naive. I'm not one of those crazies who is saying 2012 is going to mean enlightment for the human race, or the destruction of the human race or if anything is going to happen, because I don't know if something is or not. I'm not going to deny the fact that something may happen because I simply do not know. All I can do is the same as everyone else; wait and see.

As far as the multiple dates....I believe it's like the game 'telephone'. You start off with one sentence and repeat it to the person next to you, in a group of 15-30 people and see how fucked up the sentence becomes.
