Apparently they've decided that an "unknown" will be Conan. Not that this necessarily means that most wrestlers will be out of the running.

Also, it's not a remake. It's the beginning of a new series of films (probably). Like Batman Begins was for Batman.

Will be interesting to see what direction they go with the movie. I remember about 6 months ago reading somewhere that the studio was pushing for the movie to be PG !!

I think it is stupid how people feel the need to remake or 'update' films tese days, where has all the imagination gone?

Because it's cheaper to pay writers to rehash ideas than to pay them for original ideas.
