I'm going to visit my friend in Ontario for the summer and I was planing to see Symphony X in Toronto July 17th or 18th, can't remember, but his mom won't let me up until a week after the show, damn. Should I end my life over this?

Well, when I'm up there, I might be able to go see Zappa Plays Zappa, so I should get to see at least one great show.

If you have a chance to see this, by all means GO!
I won't be able to make the show this year, but it was one of the best shows I've seen (June 2006), other than seeing FZ.

I'm going to mailbomb you Kevin. It's not my mom that won't let me go until after the show, It's my friend's. At first I was supposed to go while she was gone, and I would have gotten to see the show, but now I have to wait until she comes back to go up there. I do know a guy in Toronto who said he'd let me stay at his apartment in Toronto for awhile, theres that option, but mom doesn't know him, and probably wouldn't let me go up there if I were going to stay with him.
