I saw the mighty SLAYER last Wednesday! Boy, it was great! Couldn't have been better! Seats were great, the sound was great, the circle pit was AWESOME, and I appreciated my own personal air conditioning(The dude with the long hair's headbanging acted as a fan! AH HA HA HA!)KICK ASS! Best of all, I got my free beer as usual(having beer thrown on me, that is!) he he he he he................Man, there's nothing like being at a concert and feeling that double bass pound right through your damn chest!

Brent: I agree the sound sucked on this Slayer tour. I disagree with your view on Divine though, that was a solid album, and a GREAT tour (the last big production they ever put on, sold out arena show for me in Dayton 2/13/95!!!) That tour owned!!!!! Diabolus.....side one, good shit, side two, blah....

I have enjoyed every Slayer album that come out, at least all of their studio efforts. Didn't really care for undisputed attitude, but I thought Divine, Diabolus, and God hates us all kick some serious ass. However, the all time favorites will always be a tie between Reign in blood and Seasons in the Abyss.

"Burning from within you know a spark is all it takes! Hear the piercing cries of all how found out hell awaits!"

Cheerz!

God hates us all would sound just like nu-metal if they had a sampler on it.
I hate the fact that Kerry King said that he had brought in influenses from Slipknot on it.

Tom sings very good though, sounds angrier than he has in a long time.

:(

Everything Slayer has done is fucking awesome.
Just like everything Anthrax has done is fucking awesome.

Slayer and Anthrax need to tour together again. And my life would be complete.

I'm with Augdawg, Thra:rofl:ude and Vim on this. I like everything Slayer has put out. God Hates Us all is a really good album and I hope they continue making great music for many years to come.

You guys can like whatever you want, but gay shit has been happening around Slayer lately, and call me a sellout, but good old thrash is where it's at for me.

Neither do you apparently. So doing a video with Sum41 is gay?? It seems like everytime Slayer wants to try something different they get put down for it. "Good old thrash" is probably all you listen to.

People should look around themselves and realize it´s not 1986 anymore. They have influences from Slipknot, and, yeah, what the hell? To state my humble opinion, GHUA rules, it´s very fast, aggressive, and YES, very fresh and modern!! Sellout? If they had recorded "Reign In Blood II" that WOULD HAVE BEEN a sellout! Don´t you think?

What the fuck does the current year have to do with anything, I thought metal was impervious to trends that are going on, apparently Slayer isn't, and GOOD OLD THRASH STILL RULES, the hey day of Slayer produced most of the great thrash of our time, is it because they can't write good thrash anymore, I mean how many great METAL bands have hit the shitter because they let trends interfere with their integrity? Met, Megadeth, Slayer, Machine Head, Grip Inc, Entombed(although they are back!), the list goes on and on, and Slayer is just the latest, who cares about mall core? Apperantly Kerry King does, and I find that not only troubling for Slayer fans( as in a troubling future for Slayer) but I also find that insulting to the fans who HAVE stuck true to metal, LONG LIVE CLASSIC SLAYER!
