everyone says danzig is an asshole, mustaine is an asshole, billy milano (even tho i dont think its true) is an asshole, and the list goes on, but to ME, i dont care. all i care about is... are they making good music?
Absolutly dude, I also dont give a shit about anything but the music, you know what I did today? I turned a Dj buddie of mine on to The Rebel You Love to Hate... He didnt even know that MOD was still around, told him to go download Wigga off of Billys site and then I requested he play that bitch... And even after all that shit went down between Buzzard and the Old School Headbanger, I still want to see his music played for the masses because that is what it is all about ...good music.

I just saw somewhere that they are currently in production on...get this...
The Poseidon Adventure

Holy Shit

Ok, i get it, Hollywood has run out of ideas. Maybe if these assholes picked up a book once in awhile, they'd see there are some good books out there that would make good movies.

What books would you guys like to see made into movies?

The entire Dark Tower series by Stephen King...that would be an epic to rival Lord of The Rings...directed by Larry Kasdan (Dreamcatcher)...or Frank Darabont (The Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption)

both these directors are the only ones I've seen who can capture the novel and bring it to the screen.

Of course, I wanna see the Dune Prequels made into a movie too...but with David Lynch directing without restraints... ;)

You couldn't be more right!! I've said that more than once it's just a shame that Clint Eastwood has aged so much because he would've been the perfect
Roland (Gunslinger) and if done right it would bury LOTR!!!

Now that would be something to see, I love that series.Read the first part out of a readers digest while sitting on the toilet when I was like 15 or so I think.

Would love to see Roland on screen, who should play him though?

T Man, perfect. It is too bad he is too old though, who else?

That's actually a pretty tough question....I can't really think of anyone who would be able to do the job that Clint would've done (Josey Wales Clint)

Oh I pray to our Lord and Saviour that you're playing a prank. Please!

DUNE PREQUELS? Whenever I see one of those books, all I hear is Brian Herbert going Cha-ching! at the cash register, cashing in on his old man's name and legacy.

I read "House Atreides" and could not believe how awful Brian managed to screw with his father's carefully crafted and rich world. Since that time, two more rolls of toilet paper have come out of Brian's shit factory.

Oh absolutely! Clint Eastwood would have been perfect for the role...but he is too old now...but someone like Kiefer Sutherland might be able to pull it off...

I think he's older than Eastwood....What about the guy who played Hellboy
(Ron Perlman) he could work.

He would make a good Roland, but I still think he's too old...he'd have to last through at least 5 films...you have to get them young enough so that they'll age properly with the story, or can at least be aged...

To Jurched: hehehe...it wasn't Frank, but it did fill some of the gaps, and give some really interesting insights...they were supposedly written from Frank's notes. There's supposed to be one more book, which was supposedly partially written that would be a followup too Chapterhouse. In my opinion, if they go beyond that...THEN they're grandstanding, and should be kicked in the nads...

ALSO, I changed my mind: I'd actually rather see them finish making movies from the original Dune series before they do anything with the prequels...I was pissed at the first remake of Dune, but Children of Dune was a much better production. One can only hope that if they go into God Emperor and Heretics, that it will get even better.
