I use Cubase 5 and Pro Tools M-Powered 8 on a mac

Eh... It depends on what you need.

If you don't have a good plugin for modeled vintage compressors or EQs, get one of those, I heard they're very good. Plus they aren't included in the "Standard" T-Racks 3 which I own, I'd love to have them as well.

I keep using the T-Racks clipper, it's great for what it's supposed to do.

well, I think I have all basic stuff except soft clipper and a good multiband compressor, the one that comes with Cubase sucks the tone too much in my opinion, even with 1.1:1 ratio and 3dB gain reduction. For metering I will get Waves PAZ at some point, so I don't need the metering suite.

I use the clipper alot.

Opto compressor is cool if you want something super transparent for the mix bus.

Multiband limiter is ok. I dont use it much though

Metering is really well featured but could do with a larger analyser.
