Oldest band which is still good? And oldest band member who is still good?

I think Dio was the best frontman Black Sabbath ever had. Forget Ozzy, he wasn't that great.

Queenryche is still going strong with a new album that came out just this year (sequel to "Operation: Mindcrime").

I dunno the Ozzy area seems to be the essential Black Sabbath stuff, but Dio did kick major ass!

Basically the German Thrash bands of the 80's are still rockin hard and stayin true to what they started doing.

For an authentic metalhead you seem to spout an awful lot of nonsense...

And why is it the trend to jump on the "I hated Ozzy, Dio was so much cooler" bandwagon?

I'm testing you.

I'm not following the trend, I DO think that Dio is better than Ozzy. I don't hate Ozzy, his voice fit well with the early BS stuff, but Dio was an excellent vocalist.

I agree on the Sodom and Destruction. I have mixed feelings about the new Celtic Frost, and Enemy of God is Kreator gone Gothenburg.
Heh, for which reason I was going to put "(arguable)" next to Kreator as well, but forgot. I like it though.

Nevertheless, Metallica has turned off too many people to thrash.

But it made no sense as answer to my post, that was just utterly random and had no revelence to this this thread. (I'm being honest, and I actually usually enjoy your posting)
