I might add the Rolling Stones to this thread somewhere, but their glory days are long over. I can't even stand listening to anything after 1970.

Their albums in between "Into the Pandemonium" and "Monotheist" weren't horrible, but yeah, I find those albums to be unlistenable after a few spins.

I'm picking up "Vanity/Nemesis" and "Monotheist" tomorrow, so I'll see about that. I haven't heard "Cold Lake" yet either, though it should be on the way.

I have a VHS of them live at the Hammersmith, and I believe it was from that era. They did look like a glam band! Though I don't have "Cold Lake", the songs from it that I heard on the tape didn't sound bad to me. I'm listening to "Vanity/Nemesis" now and it is pretty good.

I don't know what Celtic Frost were thinking back then...they are the ugliest SOB's with the exception of Lemmy ... even with girlie makeup on they looked awful back then lol .... but my vote is Motorhead and Lemmy for the question of the thread... Deaf Forever!!!
